The Kennel Club Good Citizens Dog Scheme is a progression of instruction and simple tests which are designed to ensure that your dog learns the type of obedience exercises and behaviour that will ensure it is a pleasure to own. It also provides guidance on the knowledge an owner should possess in order both to understand their dog and the responsibilities of owning a dog. The scheme progresses through three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level requires a slightly higher standard of training and understanding than the previous and a Kennel Club Certificate is awarded for a pass at each level. We meet at Ludford which is half way between Louth and Market Rasen and will be running short courses based on these standards followed by an assessment at each stage. Each session will consist of a practical training lesson followed by a two or three minute talk. The courses will be held during the day at : Cherrilyn If you would like to join us for these short training sessions, the training sessions and tests or would like only to take the test (we are very flexible) please contact: John Sharwood Telephone: 01507-313787 E-Mail: john@canineadvise.co.uk OR To Register for the Courses or Assessments or Both More details can be found by linking to the Kennel Club information site
