What we do
We love dogs and our chief concerns are their welfare and the encouragement of responsible dog ownership.
To this end we wish to see all owners exercising their dogs not just physically but also mentally.
Hence:
We run classes in Obedience to include the Kennel Club Good Citizens Dog Scheme.
We run classes in Agility.
We run classes in Flyball.
If our members wish we will also train them to be part of a demonstration team in Obedience, Agility or a combination of both to appear at local fêtes and events etc.
Further:
If you have a behavioural problem with your dog we will help you to solve the problem.
We will microchip dogs belonging to members. All dogs chipped are registered with Petlog which is administered by the Kennel Club and contains the largest and most efficient UK reunification data base.
Why we do it
The list of organisations and individuals who claim to have the answer to all your dog training needs is growing daily. Many of these have little or no formal qualifications or experience.
John has been involved in dog training for over forty years, his qualifications are listed above and his only interest is the training and hence welfare of your canine companion.
The purpose of this site is to advise on sources of information, training facilities and organisations that may be able to assist the owner in their training. It is not intended to be a training guide.
We are not in competition with any other organisation and are quite willing to exchange links with other training groups in the area. Please e-mail us to arrange this. |
